You've responded to our challenge to build safe, fuel-efficient cars by bringing great new hybrid models to the marketplace. We said "build them and we will buy them," and buy them we have! Our campaign has helped make hybrids popular with car-buyers of all kinds, including mothers and families.

Now we are asking you to meet a new challenge: bring a fuel-efficient hybrid minivan to the marketplace within two years. Most families need the combination of cargo space, seating capacity and safety that only minivans offer, but they don't want to hurt the environment.
